There are fewer banjo teachers in LA than I'd imagined.
Please email if you play and are willing to give lessons for reasonable rates.
I'm willing to come towards you if that makes it easier.
Thanks!

There are three of us -- bass, drums and guitar, but we need to find a good vocalist.
Influences are Death Cab, Pete Yorn, Strokes.
We have tons of original songs but just need someone to sing them.
Let's get together and make some music.

Our band is currently one drummer shy of being awesome.
Looking for someone with great chops.
We sound like the Meters.
Rehearsal once a week. No druggies.

Hi,
I'm a semi-pro mix engineer with a couple of years experience under my belt. I have regular access to a pro-studio and can mix your bands demo for a low price.
I can also help with production.
I focus mainly on rock bands but am looking to expand into other kinds of music too.
Check out some of my demo work at http://www.myspace.com/the50yearplan
I'm in NYC most of the year but am willing to work on projects remotely.
This site is awesome.

Hi
I have a regular 'gig' at an open mic in Santa Monica and am looking for a bass player to back me up. Since the gig is just an open mic, I can't really offer any money at this time, but this is a possibility in the future.
I play rock / folk / emo.
Hope to hear from you.

Hey
Our band is 3/4 of the way to being awesome - we're just missing a bassist.
Our current lineup is two guitars, vox and drums. Our last bassist just left to play 'funk' and we need someone with good chops to fill in.
This is a pretty low time-commitment gig. Rehearse once per week. Hope to gig regularly this summer.
All original material in the vein of Wilco, Son Volt, Elliott Smith, Shins...
Check us out at: www.myspace.com/sdater
Hope to hear from you!

Hi,
I've played guitar for about 10 years and recently moved to new york. I'm looking for other musicians -- guitarists, bassists, piano players, etc -- who want to get together once in a while to chill out and play music.
I'm into indie rock, classic rock, folk, alt country and pop.
I like the Beatles, Wilco, Elliott Smith, the Pixies and a million other groups too.
Let me know if you want to jam.

TheJamboard.com is here to help you find musicians in your city.
It's free, easy to use, and totally rocks.
